While it was the aspiration of KCN Gowdru at the time of shooting of ‘Kasturi Nivasa’ to make it color, the dream of legendary veteran is now fulfilled by his son KCN Mohan in bringing color version of Kasturu Nivasa.

For Rs.3.75 lakhs movie ‘Kasturi Nivasa’ in early 70’s black and white movie, Rs.2 crore is spent now on color and DI technology for the film.

My father was dreaming of color version from the beginning and his fascination we carried out says Mohan. We have plans for release on 7th November but a few big films lined up and proper theatre not available. The fans of Dr Rajakumar want only particular theatre – they want to come up with 100 feet cut out of Dr Raj, offer garland, pour milk on the cut out, helicopter pouring of flower petals on statue of ‘Annavru’, another fans association wants to offer plantain leaf food for 2000 persons on this occasion of color Kasturi Nivasa release says Mohan.

On the business probabilities Mohan says it has been re-censored with technical facelift. We have the rights now for television channel business.

We have already got in touch with Mr Raghu for release abroad. In USA, Germany, Dubai, European countries, Australia this color version of Kasturi Nivasa would be available.

KCN Movies has five more yesteryears films to come in color. In that the work has already commenced for ‘Veera Kesari’. ‘Mantralaya Mahatme’ follows and ‘Babruvahana’ in 3 D takes some more time observes Mohan.
